A few years ago, Amazon.com started renting out storage space on their servers. Better yet, their minimum monthly fee was only $0.01.

 

At about the same time, we were struggling with how to backup our critical files. We tried using inexpensive USB drives, but they couldn't protect our data from fire or theft. So, since we were a software company, we developed Backazon.

 

 

 

 

Backazon was not designed to backup your entire hard drive. In fact, we still use external drives to do that. The internet simply isn't fast enough to backup your entire hard drive on a regular basis.

 

 

Backazon was designed to backup your critical files on a regular schedule. You simply select the files or folders you want backed up, create a schedule, and Backazon takes care of the rest.

 

Do you have a folder where you store important pictures or documents? Backazon can copy those files to the Amazon servers on a schedule that you create. You can backup every 4 hours, once a day, or only on Fridays. With Backazon, you're in control.

 

What happens if your hard drive crashes or your laptop is stolen? With Backazon, it's quick and easy to restore your files from the Amazon servers.

Lots of companies are using the Amazon servers to provide "Backup Services," but many of these companies are marking up the Amazon fees by 100%, 200%, and even 300%. We don't think that's fair.

 

 

When you use Backazon, your backups are stored in your private Amazon account. Amazon will charge you based on how much you store on their servers. Anotherwords, we don't mark up the Amazon fees at all. You only pay for what you use.
